Business Development Director
Laurie Hodges is a native of Seattle, Washington with over 15 years of marketing and business development experience within the commercial real estate field, which has afforded key business relationships within the Seattle community. Laurie was introduced to soccer when she met her husband Mitch, who was born in Mexico and spent a part of his life in London. Laurie combined her passion for photography and soccer, and has held a media credential photographing the Seattle Sounders FC for several media outlets including CONCACAF, Soccer Seattle Magazine, and Crosscut.
Laurie is currently the Director of Business Development with the global workplace design firm IA Interior Architects. Her work focuses on fostering relationships with heads of Fortune 500 Companies Real Estate Groups.
As Business Development Director for Kingdom Hope, Laurie’s role is to expand our reach and to develop networking relationships for us with corporate partners and donors.
Executive Director – Kingdom Hope
Andrey Orr was born in London, England and spent his years living in the capitals diverse borough of Haringey. He attended Middlesex University where he studied Retail Management before pursuing a successful management career with leading retail department store chain; John Lewis. Andrey has previously served as both event director and board trustee for local nonprofit charities helping to deliver leadership and community programs to inner city youths and adults. Andrey has often cited his grandmother as the inspiration for his interest in the world of business.
As chief operation officer Andrey works closely with all members of the Kingdom Hope leadership team to implement and fulfill the mission, values and aspiration of Kingdom Hopes programs.
In his spare time Andrey can usually be found at his local movie complex, catching up on his reading or visiting family and friends. He currently divides his time between his home in London and Kingdom Hopes Greater Seattle base.
Director of Player Relations for Major League Soccer
James Riley is the director of player relations for Major League Soccer. A recently retired American soccer defender who spent eleven seasons in Major League Soccer with the New England Revolution, San Jose Earthquakes, Seattle Sounders, Chivas USA, DC United, LA Galaxy, and the Colorado Rapids, James is known just as much for his off the field community work as as he is for his stellar career. An avid supporter of the Renton Skyway Boys and Girls Club in Washington, James has devoted several hours to community work by hosting events, visiting local youth groups, and inspiring several of his teammates to be more active in their own local communities. He currently resides in New York City, NY.
Founder/CEO of Gravity Payments
Dan Price is the founder and CEO of Gravity Payments, a credit card processing company in Seattle, Washington. He is is best known for his decision to institute a $70,000 minimum wage at his company. In April 2015, Dan made headlines around the world for his bold action to improve his team’s quality of life. The response that followed his announcement was overwhelming. Dan’s move spurred hundreds of thousands to voice their support, and has inspired business owners across the country to employ similar pay increases for their teams. Why did he do it? As he put it, “Because it was a moral imperative.” He currently resides in Seattle, WA.
